Teaching Credential/MA Program - School of Education

Our Program

Our Teaching Credential Program will prepare you for teaching at either the elementary or secondary level. You will receive:

  • Hands-on teaching experience as a student teacher in a public school, with an emphasis on regional diversity.
  • Coursework using a theoretical-practical approach to the teaching-learning process.
  • An opportunity to obtain both a Master of Arts in Education degree AND a Multiple Subject or Single Subject Credential (optional Bilingual Cross Cultural Language and Academic Development - BCLAD - emphasis).

We offer Teaching Credential programs in elementary education as well as secondary English, mathematics, social science, science (biology, chemistry, geo-science, physics), agricultural education, and foreign language (Spanish).
